My name is Larry McCann and I’m glad you’re taking a look at my background. I hope you enjoy my book “Wall Street to Rags and Back.” I lived and worked in New York City for many years and my career as a broadcast announcer and writer spanned 3 decades. I also wrote and produced commercials and industrial films for major corporations around the nation. But, I always wanted to write fiction and I figured it was time I put something down on paper.

The book’s story deals with one man’s crushing defeat (Henry Pembrose) and the terrible misfortune that takes him from the pinnacle of success to living on the frozen winter streets of Manhatten. How would he survive? This terrible circumstance was so difficult that he even contemplated suicide. But along the way, a very strange man’s help proved to be invaluable. Our protagonist began to receive aid from an improbable group of people he’d never considered to be an ally.
