An optimistic and appealing tale
The introduction of a protagonist who is an unpromising hero, leads us to an intricate reveal of NYC street life, Wall Street machinations, and redemption. Particularly entertaining is the confluence of our Wall Street wizard and the disparate array of fascinating homeless people with whom he ultimately shares adventures and surprising accomplishments.
This is an enjoyable and diverting read for COVID weary people looking for an uplifting story.
Recommend. Perfect with a Quarantini
What’s a great way to cozy up this winter and get you through the quarantine holiday? The answer is this book and a glass of quarantini to go with its exhilarating world of high finance! Can’t recommend enough.
Page-turning Prose
This is a delightful, feel-good storyline with the charismatic hero, Henry Pembrose, that I couldn’t help but cheer on throughout the story. The insight to New York’s homeless world is just as compelling as Henry’s expertise on Wall Street as you follow along in his rise and fall, wondering just how he will overcome his unbearable circumstance.
Well written and during this pandemic this book provides the Hope the world is in dire need of
